Join us as a
- Overall responsibility for the organization, cleanliness and management of the warehouse, including inventory control and parts ordering, return of used and damaged parts, and safety as it relates to the Schindler Joint Health and Safety Committee and policy requirements and ISO standards
- Handling and storage of material, including shipping and receiving, ordering supplies, reviewing of all incoming material against packing slips and purchase orders, and out-going material with material requisitions and shipping documents
- Communication with Supervisors and Mechanics on order status and delivery to ensure efficient and accurate pickup and retrieval
- Control renewal parts system and procedures including data entry, issuing purchase orders for stock and non stock material as required, order entry, inventory activity records and shipping reports
- Load and unload freight or deliveries in the warehouse
- Prepare used oil and absorball for disposal
- Maintain the stockroom so it is free of hazards and compliant with ISO standards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Organize and maintain warehouse including housekeeping
- Maintaining consumables and management of recycled material
- Driver’s License
- Forklift License
- Warehouse lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of elevator and escalator parts / technical aptitude preferred
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing priorities
- Problem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively
- Teamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationship
