Your future role on our team
Your role as an Automation Co-op student will be to take part in engineering projects in the Energy, Industrial and Mining sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the deliverables you are assigned and to maintain a good working relationship with your teammates while gaining industry experience.

- Participate in small to major projects for utility (substation and generation), industrial (manufacturing/processing plants and renewable energy) and heavy industry clients (mining)
- Prepare sketches and drawings (schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, etc.)
- Prepare technical documents (reports, specifications, test sheets, manuals, etc.)
- Prepare engineering lists
- Perform device configuration and programming (PLCs, HMIs, relays, etc.)
- Take part in site inspections, testing and commissioning

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements
- Enrolled in an Electrical or Automation Engineering program
- Good academic standing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
