C&O Apparel is a leading design and manufacturing company in Burnaby. We operate state of an art 83,000 sq ft manufacturing facility with approximately 120 employees in Canada to service our domestic and international customers.
We are now seeking a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Merchandiser with a keen interest in the garment industry to support and assist our merchandising team.
Job duties:
- Assist merchandising team in preparing customer orders.
- Arranging and processing fit samples.
- Ensure products deliver consistent fit and quality to customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints.
- Some administrative tasks.
- Stay up to date with legislation / requirements on textiles, clothing and labelling posed by the government and customers.
Skills & requirements:
- Possess strong mathematical skills and able to multitask.
- Details oriented with good organization skills.
- Able to work independently as well as a team player.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English and knowing Cantonese is an asset.
- Knowledge in textiles and clothing are an asset.
- Minimum one year related experience required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
