Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales and Customer Service oriented front desk member to join our team! As a front desk team member, you will be the first point of contact for our students and families, providing excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience during their weekly visit, and helping to grow the school registering new students,
Compensation:
- Starting wage is $22.00 per hour
- Rotate between Downtown and Midtown Academy Locations
- Set workdays are Mondays 1pm-9pm, Fridays 12pm-8pm, and Saturdays (9:30am-5pm. Additional shifts as available.
- Monthly pay bonuses for achieving monthly goals

Duties:
- Convert students and families inquiring about lessons into registered students using script
- Deliver over-the-top positive and professional service for all families to assist with maintaining their private lesson times, teachers, and classes.
- Greet all students and parents by first name.
- Process administrative tasks such as data entry, emails, and other communications
- Handle complaints courteously and professionally
- Handle teacher scheduling and addressing teacher concerns.
Qualifications:
- Sales, upselling, bar/restaurant/cafe background
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze information effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds

Job Requirements:
- Candidates will work on location rotating between both Downtown and Midtown Locations
- Set workdays are Mondays 1pm-9pm, Fridays 12pm-8pm, and Saturdays (9:30am-5pm. Additional shifts as available.
- While the above schedule will likely remain fairly fixed, flexible working hours may be occasionally be required as business needs change to accommodate vacation and personal leave needs from other team members.
- Because this position involves working with vulnerable persons, applicants in the later stages of the application process will be required to complete a screening process including ID verification, police, vulnerable sector, and reference check.
