Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. As a Cost Accountant in our dynamic Construction and Property Ownership company, you will play a crucial role in vendor payments, financial analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your responsibilities will include:
Experience:
· 3-5 years experience
· Construction knowledge
· CPA Designation
Day-to-Day Tasks:
· Maintain and reconcile the construction project budgets.
· Process payments to vendors and subcontractors.
· Oversee cost analysis and variance reporting.
· Performing account reconciliations.
· Forecast and manage construction cash flow.
· Support asset acquisition, finance and all refinance activities
· Ensure Property Management revenue is tracked and received monthly.
· Ensure insurance and compliance are met for all projects and interest groups.
· Manage a bookkeeper(s).
Other Tasks:
· Prepare financial statements.
· Prepare income tax returns.
· Verify and analyze bank statements.
