Counselling Therapists are integral to the interdisciplinary medical and mental health team providing healthcare services to marginalized populations and their families in this non-hospital client setting. As a valued member of this team, you will be responsible for providing services to diverse individuals experiencing a wide range of medical and mental health concerns.

This role is well suited to individuals who are interested in making a difference for a vulnerable population, and are capable of working autonomously within their scope of practice.
This position is casual in nature, up to part-time hours, offering you the opportunity to respond to urgent client needs as they arise.
- Must be licensed and in good standing as a Registered Psychotherapist with the CPRO
- Must have a degree, diploma or certificate in a related field (ie. Mental Health and Addictions, Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, etc)
- Have minimum 3 year experience in the last 5 performing the following tasks:
- Conducting individual assessments;
- Providing addictions counselling and therapy;
- Developing individual treatment plans;
- Evaluating and monitoring individual progression;
- Maintaining and updating records;
- Making appropriate referrals to medical professionals; and,
- Providing awareness about external resources for continuing support.
- You must be able to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance at the Reliability level
- You must be able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector police check
- A security clearance and/or vulnerable sector screening might be required for this position.
