Your role on our team: The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the Investment team through providing project support and liaising with internal resources and external sources for new acquisition and disposition projects.
In this role, you will:
- Create, manage, and coordinate acquisition and disposition project schedules
- Responsible for tracking acquisition/disposition progress and ensuring all deadlines are met
- Take clear and concise meeting minutes with the ability to identify next steps
- Manage all documents concerning new acquisitions and dispositions
- Establish and maintain brokerage and consultant relationships
- Coordinate meetings and site visits with internal staff and external consultants
- Review and approve consultant reports (environmental, building condition, survey, etc.)
- Monitor consultant performance; ensure adherence to terms and conditions of agreements
- Assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations
- Communicate with team members about progress and quality issues promptly
- Ability to conduct independent research
- Build and maintain broker relationships and monitor market transactions and new listings
- Respond to inquiries from department personnel regarding project status
- Assist department personnel in organizing work relating to specific assigned project deadlines
- Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management
- Must be able to follow instructions with little guidance
We would like you to have:
Education : A post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Real Estate, Project Management, Finance) is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and Access.
- Exceptional communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to travel and have access to a vehicle.
