Our client, a Big 5 bank, is currently looking to hire wealth management associates to join their team in downtown Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal!
Location: Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal. Candidates will work onsite Fully for training. Hybrid does not go into effect until their leaders have granted this - it is based on performance and how quickly candidates can pick up their on training* (moving to 2 days in office - work from home Monday and Fridays)
Hours are Monday, Friday 9am - 5pm.
Story Behind the Need
- Our client, a Big 5 Bank is currently looking to hire additional wealth management associates within their contact center works to support their customers with regards to any questions they may have concerning their account and trade functions.
The Project: Due to an increased work load the contact center is look to increase their team to better serve their customer base.
Typical Day In The Role
- Resolving client telephone and email inquiries timely and effectively
- Using discretion and problem solving skills to satisfy the requirements of the customer’s request
- Contributing to ideal center functionality by adhering to goals, policies, and procedures
- Utilizing key mind for sales to recognize and initiate opportunities for cross-selling and referrals
- Facilitating a culture of communication, participation, and collaboration by being an actively positive member of your team
Qualifications
- Strong Written communication - previous customer service experience handled over email and chat bot inquiries
- 2-4 years of Financial industry experience (account status, transfers, RRSPs, -- general understanding of investment options)
- 2-4 years Experience in a Customer Service capacity particularly in a Banking Contact Center environment
- Interest for wealth management a preference

- Graduate within finance or business
- branch / teller experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previously completed a CSC course
- Language skills in Cantonese Mandarin or French an asset and will be prioritized
Duration: 6 month contract to start with opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent
Pay: $24/hr
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
