Parallel is headquartered in North Vancouver, but we have our team working from home. We provide our teammates with dependable communication options to ensure they feel connected and are able to receive coaching and guidance from their peers and management team. We help keep our employees engaged through regular online meetings. All team members are required to have their own computer / laptop / monitors and robust internet connection in order to access our office computer equipment and software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work in a supportive role together with other team members
· Primary focus is on developing drawings for retail and commercial spaces
· Produce drawings through Revit models
· Assist in municipal and consultant coordination
· Building permit documentation and applications
· Site visits
Skills and Attributes:
· Hold a Diploma or Degree from an accredited Architectural Technology program or Interior Design program
· 1-3 years of experience in the field of architecture or interior design is preferred
· Detail oriented and creative with a passion for design and technical permit and construction drawings
· Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD production
· Some experience with BCBC and VBBL
· A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on positive client experience
· An eye for graphics and a desire to create beautiful drawings
· Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and continue upgrading technical knowledge
· Enjoys collaborating with others on projects
· Strong verbal and written English communication skills
· Service and client/customer orientated
· Organized and self-disciplined
As standards, practices and building codes vary widely across the world and even from province to province, we do require local, Canadian, work experience and put a strong preference on BC applicants. The right applicant from Alberta would also be of interest

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
