Resolve Business advisors is a team of professionals who specialize in client accounting services (CAS). A CAS professional can perform many of the duties that would typically require an entire finance department: account reconciliations, bookkeeping, cash flow projections, advising on payroll and internal controls, budgeting, reporting, and interpreting financial data. Client accounting services bridge the gap between financial statements and the day-to-day operations of a business. New technology makes it possible for us to offer a variety of services to our clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is interested in combing their accounting knowledge with the newest technology.
Responsibilities:
- Problem solving in a dynamic environment
- Working collaboratively with both team members and clients
- Combining new technology with accounting knowledge
- Monitoring and maintaining accounting systems, including account reconciliations, app integration, tax compliance, and reporting
- Providing clients with valuable monthly reporting that will assist in their decision-making
- Planning and prioritizing workloads to meet strict filing deadlines
Skills and Experience:
- Good communications skills - both written & verbal
- 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, and other integrated applications
- Understanding of sales taxes (GST/PST) and corporate taxes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is considered an asset
