Receptionist (Contract)

Location: Downtown Vancouver
Hourly Compensation: $21–$24/hr
We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join our client’s team in Downtown Vancouver. This short-term contract role is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the efficient operation of the front office while creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and callers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Greet visitors warmly and manage phone inquiries professionally.
- Operate a multi-line switchboard, directing calls and visitors effectively.
- Maintain reception appointment calendars and coordinate meeting room bookings.
- Monitor visitor access and uphold security procedures.
- Keep reception, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas tidy and well-organized.
- Handle courier services and assist with office equipment maintenance.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous reception experience, ideally in a professional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal communication and multitasking skills
- A friendly, professional demeanor with a customer service focus
