Position Overview
Tri-Peak Strategies is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level data professional to grow their career in the consulting and data analysis field. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts, consultants, and cross-functional teams to support data analysis and provide critical insights that influence key business decisions. You will play a vital role in gathering, processing, and interpreting data from various sources, helping us craft impactful solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Data Interpretation: Extract meaningful insights from raw data, generating reports and visualizations that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Report Generation: Prepare and present detailed reports, including statistical analysis, trends, and recommendations, tailored to client needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior data analysts and business consultants to design and implement data analysis strategies that address client objectives.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visual representations of data using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to simplify complex information for non-technical audiences.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing data and correcting errors to maintain accuracy.
- Market Research Support: Assist with collecting data on market trends, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarks to inform business strategies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends in data analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies to ensure the highest level of expertise.
- Data Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all data processing tasks, analyses, and reports for internal use and client reference.
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and Python (or R).
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new data analysis tools and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to approach problems with a data-driven mindset, considering all factors to develop accurate insights.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Experience using data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to create dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools: Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics platforms, such as QlikView or SAP BusinessObjects.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning: Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry trends, especially in consulting, technology, or business development, is beneficial.
