Qualifications:
- You have a University Degree in Occupational Therapy
- You are a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO)
- You have a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP) or Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) designation
- You have a valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle
Please note: Experience with completing CAT assessments, and/or C-CAT certification is considered an asset
What is a day in the life of a FA Life Care Planner Occupational Therapist?
- You have experience working with people who have acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, chronic pain or other health problems requiring future care
- You have experience consulting with a multidisciplinary team and health professionals
- You have experience working with personal injury lawyers, auto insurers and insurance
- You will prepare future cost of care reports, and/or medical legal reports
- You will look at medical records, patient interviews and other sources to establish life care plans
