What You’ll Do:
As the International Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of all Marketing strategies. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who has exceptional communication and organizational skills, with an interest in Public Relations, Social Media and Digital Marketing.
What You’re Responsible For:
Influencer Marketing & Public Relations
- Create and maintain media, affiliate, influencer and KOL lists.
- Coordinate the influencer, KOL, affiliate and media outreach process by representing OAK + FORT as a brand ambassador.
- Produce monthly influencer and affiliate performance reports and track daily performance.
- Assist in the management of the Marketing gifting and inventory process.
- Utilize available technologies used for influencers and affiliates to improve team efficiency, experience and reporting.
- Support on all PR opportunities, efforts and initiatives, including but not limited to writing press releases and pitches.
Social Media
- Assist in the planning and management of all OAK + FORT social media accounts.
- Assist in the creation of social media content, self-shooting assets as required.
- Assist in the production of video content including filming and editing.
- Assist in the development and execution of the social media marketing strategy.
- Monitor and produce weekly reports on impressions, engagement and trends.
- Collaborate with our Creative team on all opportunities and efforts as required.
International Marketing & Sales
- Manage the day-to-day aspect of all international marketing initiatives, including but not limited to the creation of all copy and content for the OAK + FORT WeChat, RED and Weibo accounts.
- Research and develop long term strategic plans and recommendations for international growth and opportunities.
- Analyze and report on all channel’s performance.
- Support the Retail team in managing their individual store WeChat group chats in partnership with Retail management.
- Work in partnership with the Client Experience team to respond and engage with new and existing international clients.
- Represent OAK + FORT as a brand ambassador, being the face of the brand for livestreaming and other video/photo opportunities.
- Assist in the strategy and planning for all marketing initiatives that support international sales growth.
Digital Marketing & eCommerce
- Assist in the planning and execution of our digital marketing strategies, including but not limited to email, SMS, digital ads, etc.
- Produce monthly program performance reports and track weekly performance.
- Support in the operations of our eCommerce websites.
Other
- Support in the strategy and execution of our event marketing activations.
- Support in our retail/mall marketing initiatives.
- Identify and ideate new marketing opportunities to develop and advance the OAK + FORT brand.
- Stay informed of current and changing trends in fashion, marketing and public relations.
- Assist in the general activities of the Marketing, eCommerce and Creative departments as required.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Social Media is preferred.
- Proficient in all social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, WeChat, RED and Weibo.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are an asset.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
- Ability to communicate with industry contacts comfortably and represent OAK + FORT in a professional and polished manner.
- Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines.
- Results driven, energetic, resourceful and proactive with superior interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the influencer and media industries are an asset.
- Existing media or influencer relationships are an asset.
- Knowledge in fashion media landscape, both print and digital, are an asset.
- Experience working in the fashion retail industry is an asset.
