About the Role:
We are looking to welcome a proactive and organized Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. Please note this is a temporary, full-time 12-18 month maternity leave coverage position.
Compensation:
The typical hiring range for this position is $40,000-50,000/year.

Core Responsibilities:
- Perform daily invoicing functions for all branches
- Process CODs and incoming payments in compliance with policies and procedures
- Investigate errors and issuing debit and credit notes
- Reconcile customer accounts and respond to customer inquiries as required
- Assist with AR collection by sending bill reminders and contacting customers
- Assist with the processing of AP invoices
- Maintain the fixed asset schedule, including tracking new asset additions, monthly reconciliation, and journalizing depreciation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Accounts receivable background is preferred
- Minimum completion of an accounting certificate or degree in a related field
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
- Strong communication and English written skills
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
