The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks of our dental office. This role requires proficiency in handling electronic medical records and familiarity with dental terminology, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. New receptionists are welcome to apply as thorough on-site training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent software
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting necessary information and payments.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and enhance overall patient experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is essential; experience with Cleardent is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
