I&E is a leading provider in the building and janitorial supply sector. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in an easy going and casual work environment.
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial records and transactions of our company. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial information and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Utilize accounting software to record and track financial transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Perform account analysis and budgeting tasks
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees
- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements

Experience
- Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes
- Experience in account analysis, budgeting, payroll processing, and account reconciliation is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank deposits.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency between bank records and company accounts.
Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,157.47-$71,955.78 per year
