Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. Looking for someone who can work both independently as well as in a team setting. Our team is like a family, and we are looking for someone who is a good fit.
Our office handles a variety of different medical needs and practices. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.
Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage phone systems efficiently.
Process patient paperwork and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed.
Keep the reception and visiting rooms clean and organized
Assist doctors with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems is preferred
Proficiency with office software and phone systems
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
Strong administrative skills,
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
