JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeping Intern will rotate in all the Housekeeping areas, from room attendant, to house attendant, uniform room attendant and housekeeping supervisor.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily communication of all daily housekeeping activities between Front Office, Maintenance, Laundry and relevant departments.

Provides support on the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest floors and related areas.

Collects garbage from all areas including the hotel grounds and parking lot.

Dust and wipe down all surfaces, chair, shelves and picture frames.

Clean administrative office for the hotel.

Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary degree in tourism or hospitality is preferred.

Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus

Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills

Demonstrated intermediate to advanced written communication skills (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and

verbal communications skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Prioritize and manage the completion of projects in an efficient and timely manner

Ability to quickly learn how to use any Company required software may be required
