Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Volunteer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content using Canva and managing our presence across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok*, Pinterest*, Facebook, Medium, and LinkedIn. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing while contributing to a growing platform. (The candidate is expected to create TikTok and Pinterest Accounts)

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia content using Canva to promote our articles and engage our audience.
Social Media Management: Schedule and publish posts across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand voice and messaging.
Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages, fostering a positive and interactive community.
Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze performance metrics for each platform to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and platform updates to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to align social media efforts with overall content strategy.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience in social media management and content creation is preferred but not required.
Skills: Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools; familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Medium, and LinkedIn.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas and think outside the box.
Analytical Thinking: Comfortable interpreting social media analytics to inform strategy.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Passion: A genuine interest in digital media, content creation, and community building.
