Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently, from scheduling and planning to overseeing the production team and liaising with various departments. The role involves coordinating resources, managing timelines, and maintaining quality standards to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
Serve as main communicator between each department in , manufacturing, logistics, and quality control, to ensure seamless production flow.
Track the progress of production activities, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet company standards and customer specifications.
Address production issues promptly, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, work orders, and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Generate regular reports on production performance, including efficiency metrics and productivity analyses.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in production coordination or a similar role in the packaging industry or related field.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics.
Strong organizational and time management skill with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously .
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities .
Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Good working knowledge of Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
