The Office Administrator is the face of our academy, serving as the main point of contact for students, parents, and staff. This role requires a friendly, approachable, and detail oriented individual who is passionate about delivering world-class service and fostering a community environment. The Office Administrator will manage all front desk activities, handle administrative responsibilities, and engage actively in student enrollment and retention.The team at North York Taekwondo are supportive, highly skilled (Olympians, World Champions, successful business owners) and very passionate about martial arts. The role includes free martial art lessons, which applicants will be expected to participate in.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison between students, parents, and staff.
Manage the front desk and reception area, including administration duties like answering calls and emails, handling in-person queries, and managing communications.
Handle daily administrative tasks such as checking voicemails, returning calls, confirming introductions, and following up on delinquent payments and membership holds.
Coordinate social media posts and manage online communications via emails and the academy's mobile app.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the academy, including managing inventory and keeping promotional materials up-to-date.
Engage with new and existing members to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by parents or staff promptly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in customer service, administration, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience in managing social media and online communication tools.
Passionate about martial arts and education, with a preference for candidates who have experience in martial arts or physical education.

Monday to Friday 1pm - 7pm
Saturday 9am - 1pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.71-$22.00 per hour
