About the Role
Sago Mini is looking for a Release Coordinator to join our digital products team. As a Release Coordinator you will manage our app release pipeline from scheduling, coordinating releases across all Piknik products to navigating platform requirements to managing our content on platforms outside the app stores. You will work with the Release Manager, product and marketing teams to manage the release calendar, submit process and assets for app store submissions. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the platform partners to ensure the latest requirements are met.
This is a hybrid role. You will be required to work in our downtown, Toronto office at least 1 day a week, and more depending on current project requirements.
Flexible working hours may occasionally be required due to the nature of release issues popping up on off-hours. This won’t happen often, but the ideal candidate would be okay with it occurring every now and then.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work with Release Manager to plan, track and communicate the release pipeline for all Piknik products.
- Ensure apps are submitted, reviewed and approved by platform partners.
- Align with Product Managers and Product Owners on release roadmap as well as any changes that might be required by the app stores.
- Ensure all app store assets are created & uploaded - from descriptions to screenshots to trailers.
- Work with external partners to ensure requirements are met and field any requests for changes.
- Support audits for various certifications such as COPPA kidSAFE seal, and help manage privacy standards for new feature requests.
- Work with internal stakeholders including developers, Product/Project Managers, QA, design, marketing and partnerships teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1 to 3 years of project management or related experience in production or release management
- Foundational understanding of the mobile app development release cycle and your attention to detail allows you manage various releases concurrently
- You know how to work in a collaborative team environment
- You have excellent communication skills and can manage expectations of internal stakeholders product/projects managers, QA, design while meeting expectations of external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time.
- You are curious and are able to work independently
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You know how to push back when needed and negotiate with stakeholders
- Previous experience working with mobile apps.
- Previous experience working multiple teams concurrently.
- Understanding of project management tools like Asana, Monday, JIRA, Trello, etc.
