We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Production Baker. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for our daily bake off, preparing the laminated dough and other doughs required for pastry program.
Our goal is to provide an open environment where people can thrive, collaborate, and push boundaries in all aspects of our business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing dough and ensuring its at its required thickness
- Using various tools and equipment to shape the dough into specific forms
- Monitoring the dough during the proofing process to ensure quality
- Assisting with the preparation of filling and garnishing as required
- Maintaining a clean and organised work space
- Following our baking and prep schedules
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Prior experience working with doughs and baking is required
- Candidates must be physically able to lift 25kg
- Efficient and creative problem solver. You are always looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates hands on approach to all bakery products produced in the Pastry - - Department ensuring quality, presentation and consistency standards meet company standards.
Availability to work early morning shifts
