STEM Canada is seeking an International Marketing and PR Representative to assist with our new Global Medical Science program.
Position: International Marketing and Pubic Relations Representative
Type: Commission Only - Commission structure to be discussed with successful candidates.
Start Date: Immediate - Within 1 week
End Date: May 31, 2025
Commission: Earn lucrative commission on membership amounts. Easily earn $1,000 + weekly.

Description: We are looking for a skilled Marketing and PR Representative to join our Medical Science program initiative team. The International Marketing and PR Advertising Specialist is responsible for developing and executing global marketing and public relations strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and membership growth. This role emphasizes outreach to international media outlets—newspapers, TV, radio, influencers, print, and digital platforms—and includes the creation and distribution of press releases to promote initiatives and programs. Success in this role involves crafting compelling campaigns, fostering media relationships, and ensuring consistent follow-up to secure effective content distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing and PR Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive international marketing and PR strategy tailored to diverse global markets.
- Conduct market research to identify key media channels and audiences for optimal reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with creative teams to create marketing assets for various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging across global campaigns.
2. Media Relations and Outreach
- Identify and build relationships with international marketing and advertising media outlets, including newspapers, TV, radio, online platforms, and influencers, education agents, international schools, dignitaries, and heads of schools.
- Initiate and conduct targeted outreach to media contacts for program announcements, event promotion, and membership initiatives.
- Regularly follow up with media outlets to confirm coverage and gather feedback on distributed materials.
3. Press Releases and Distribution
- Write and edit press releases, media advisories, and other promotional materials highlighting events, initiatives, and membership benefits.
- Coordinate the distribution of press releases to media lists across international markets.
- Track and document the distribution process, ensuring timely follow-up to maximize coverage.
4. Campaign Execution and Management
- Develop and launch advertising campaigns tailored to international audiences, focusing on digital platforms, social media, print media, and broadcast outlets.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyzing metrics such as impressions, reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Adjust strategies based on performance insights to optimize outcomes for each market.
5. Membership Growth and Promotion
- Incorporate membership sales goals into PR and marketing strategies, emphasizing individual and group memberships.
- Leverage media and influencer partnerships to showcase membership benefits and drive sign-ups via our affiliate program.
- Support follow-up efforts with potential members generated through marketing campaigns.
6. Reporting and Analytics
- Maintain detailed records of media interactions, press coverage, and campaign outcomes.
- Provide regular reports on global media reach, campaign effectiveness, and membership growth metrics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in international marketing, or public relations
- Ability to write, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and promotional materials.
- Knowledge of global media landscapes, including regional trends and cultural considerations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster partnerships with media outlets and influencers.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in marketing, membership sales or similar roles is an advantage but not required.

Media Outreach:
- Number of international media contacts established and nurtured.
- Coverage rate of distributed press releases across different markets.
Content Distribution:
- Timeliness and accuracy in press release distribution and follow-ups.
- Volume and quality of media coverage generated for key initiatives.
