- Course description: Differential and integral calculus of several variables: partial differentiation, chain rule, extremal problems, Lagrange multipliers, classification of critical points. Multiple integrals, Green's theorem and related topics.

- Size of appointment: 40 hrs
- Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025
- Salary: $52.26 per hour + 4% vacation pay
- Minimum qualifications: Completion of several mathematics courses with high grades. Demonstrated understanding of the course material and beyond. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications: Teaching experience preferred.
- Description of duties: Provide timely writing-focused feedback on students' assignments, and assign grades following a given rubric. Meet with instructor at least once a month for goal-setting, benchmarking and feedback. Review and grade students' revised submissions in final portfolio.

This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
