Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to the Acute Care team by managing customer and vendor contracts, and monitoring and maintaining contract performance and compliance an in effort to assist in attaining the sales and gross profit objectives of the company
Core Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Acute sales team through the maintenance of customers’ contracts and manufacturer rebates, including managing all contracts coming up for expiries.
- Provide support to Acute sales reps by providing contract information, as well as various inquiries such as product discontinuations, additions, renewals, and contract commitments.
- Compile sales reports and provide sales analysis for upcoming contracts renewals.
- Assist the sales team, customers, vendors, and other teams with any pricing or invoicing discrepancies
- Create contracts and price lists for rebated and non-rebated contracts
- Renew contracts and reviews sales margins for the purpose of increasing profit
- Link contracts to groups and maintains accurate group contract pricing
- Maintain up-to-date contractual records and contract documentation in the information systems.
- Communicate with vendors, SSOs, GPOs, and other teams regarding Acute contracts
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- University or College diploma (in business an asset)
- 1-3 years’ experience in the industry and an understanding of contract management an asset
- English, written and verbal
- French required if role is bilingual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to work under pressure in an ever changing and dynamic environment
- Able to work independently with very minimal supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications
- Product knowledge considered an asset
- SAP experience considered an asset
