The Rec Room's Hosts are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. If you thrive in an energetic, fast-paced and social atmosphere, this may be the opportunity for you!
Starting Hourly Wage: $17.40
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Taking and filling drink orders, garnishing and serving drinks, collecting payment and operating POS.
- Maintaining a clean work area by cleaning up after guests, removing empty bottles and trash, replacing empty beer kegs and washing glasses and utensils.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory by keeping track of wines, beers, liquors, and ordering bar supplies when required, and have stocked the bar by bringing liquor bottles, mixed drink ingredients, and other bar supplies from the storeroom to the bar
- Maintaining a safe environment by checking guests’ identification to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age, determining when a customer has had too much alcohol, stop serving and ensure a safe ride home is arranged, and by refusing service or even calling the police if necessary
What You Need:
This role may be a perfect fit for you if:
- You have a High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Candidates must be the age of majority or older.
- You can work a flexible schedule including days, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Serving it right certification is considered an asset.
