We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Platform Optimization Specialist to join our team on a three-month project basis, with the possibility of extending the role into a permanent position. This role focuses on refining the functionality and user experience of our Shopify store, ensuring it remains a reliable, user-friendly platform for health-conscious customers.
Key Responsibilities
Product Classification and Organization
- Perform a comprehensive review of existing product data, covering 5,000 SKUs.
- Redesign and implement a streamlined product classification system to improve searchability and navigation.
- Audit and update product listings to ensure accuracy and consistency, with a focus on customer needs.
User Experience (UX) Optimization
- Customize and enhance Shopify templates to create a more intuitive and engaging user interface.
- Integrate advanced features like chatbots to provide real-time customer support and improve overall satisfaction.
- Develop and implement interactive tools, such as special order forms, to improve customer engagement and accessibility.
Backend Operational Enhancements
- Configure and implement back-in-stock notifications to improve product visibility and sales opportunities.
- Optimize product filtering and search functionality to streamline product discovery for customers.
- Recommend and integrate additional features to improve the website’s backend efficiency and overall operational performance.
Qualifications
- Shopify Expertise: 1-3 years of experience in managing and customizing Shopify stores, with a proven ability to deliver impactful results.
- Categorization Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in creating logical, customer-friendly product classification systems.
- UI/UX Knowledge: Strong understanding of UX principles and ability to design visually appealing, user-centric interfaces.
- Analytical Abilities: Proven track record in using behavioral and sales data to inform strategic enhancements.
- Health Product Knowledge: Familiarity with health and wellness products is an asset.
- Languages: Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
