Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You are required to have a MINIMUM of 1 year experience in a kitchen restaurant. Also, qualified references must be provided. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared efficiently and meets our standards for taste and presentation. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and marinating.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Help with menu planning and development by providing input based on seasonal ingredients.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and practices.
- Experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation processes in a restaurant setting.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 38 per week
