What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist the pastry chef in preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts.
- Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Operate and monitor kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and food processors.
- Stock and organize food items, ensuring everything is readily available for use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling of ingredients at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of baking or assistant experience - Required.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
- Reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
