Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Product Designer who is passionate about crafting intuitive workflows that empower users to effortlessly navigate between products and manage the data that drives them. This is an exciting opportunity to create elegant, practical solutions for highly technical tools in the AI and mining industries.
Your focus will be on mapping out user journeys and designing streamlined workflows rather than perfecting the aesthetics—we already have a talented UI designer to handle that. Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and seamless user workflows that enable users to efficiently navigate and integrate VRIFY’s three core product offerings—data management dashboards, AI prediction tools, and 3D presentation software—into a cohesive platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to quickly understand user needs, identify pain points, and iterate on solutions, ensuring an exceptional and practical user experience across technical, AI-driven tools.
- Lead the development of user-centric designs by mapping out workflows and user journeys, prioritizing simplicity and functionality, and iterating rapidly based on feedback and evolving business goals.
- Lead and execute end-to-end user research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis, to identify key user workflows and pain points.
- Creating dashboards to monitor user behaviour to validate or test feature solution hypothesis to inform future features.
- Facilitate design discussions, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional team collaborations to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
- Work closely with engineers and data scientists to design intuitive interfaces for complex AI-driven tools, such as visualizing prediction explanations and interpreting vision transformer outputs.
- Maintain a highly organized design system and documentation process to ensure consistent, scalable UX across products.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles while balancing business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Stay updated on UX trends and best practices, particularly in AI and machine learning applications.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 7+ years of professional experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing complex user workflows and conducting comprehensive user research.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of working independently and taking ownership of projects.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to create iterative, user-focused solutions.
Highly Desired:
- Experience designing user workflows and interfaces for AI/ML-powered tools and data warehouses.
- Experience designing user workflows and interfaces for geology or mining SaaS product or enterprise-level software.
- Strong understanding of vision transformer models, AI prediction explanations, or related technologies.
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools, as well as prototyping platforms.
- Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to communicate effectively with engineers.
- A passion for solving complex, data-driven design challenges in technical domains like geology, engineering, or AI.
