Who We’re Looking For
Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry? OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Security Guard with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a security capacity.
The Shifts Available Are
- Day Shifts (7:30am-4:00pm)
- Afternoon Shifts (3:30pm-12:00am)
- Graveyard Shifts (11:30pm-8:00am)

You Will
- Ensure site security by maintaining the auction perimeter; verifying proper clearance for personnel and customers, transporters, and supply companies; and completing rounds
- Inventory, record, and store personal property from repossessed vehicles.
- May be responsible for completing vehicle stock in/check-out, using a handheld device
- Look up AuctionTrac data for customers, guiding them to where the inventory is located
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests in an efficient and timely manner
Must Haves
- 1-3 years experience in a Security role is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A valid Drivers’ license is required
- Valid BST license (British Columbiaonly)
- Basic computer & smartphone skills
- Experience working outside in all weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in French/English
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to drive both standard & automatic transmissions
