This role will involve supporting Skyline Valet's digital and operational needs while contributing to related digital projects across our affiliated enterprises.
Position Summary
Skyline Valet is looking for an experienced Software Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development to design, develop, and maintain innovative digital tools. This role requires a deep understanding of web development technologies, SEO best practices, and Content Management Systems (CMS). A collaborative mindset and technical proficiency are essential to support digital initiatives across Skyline Valet and other affiliated businesses.
The successful candidate will work on projects ranging from customer-facing web applications to internal tools, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and user-friendly experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Ensure compliance with SEO best practices in code to optimize visibility and performance on search engines.
- Utilize Microsoft development tools to build scalable solutions.
- Implement and manage tracking systems using Google Tag Manager and ensure accurate analytics through Google Search Console.
- Enhance and maintain Content Management Systems (CMS) for usability and robust back-end functionality.
- Collaborate with teams across affiliated businesses to deliver impactful digital solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth functionality.
- Provide IT support to ensure operational continuity across platforms.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated on emerging web development technologies and trends.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software or web development.
- Proven track record of SEO-optimized web projects.
- Experience with CMS platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft development tools and web plugins.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Job Details
Job Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends as required
