Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
- Upsell additional services or products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and retail sales processes is a plus.
- Ability to support sales efforts through effective communication and customer engagement.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base.
- Proficiency in math for accurate measurements and calculations related to repairs and parts inventory.
- Experience in managing a sales pipeline related to automotive services is beneficial.
