Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer with a strong background in both graphic arts and user experience design. This role involves crafting high-quality visual content for our digital assets, including website interfaces, mobile applications, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a knack for creating engaging designs that resonate with users and reflect our brand’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement branding strategies for various products and platforms.
- Design and create visual assets for websites, social media, print marketing, emails, and other business-related platforms.
- Innovate and enhance app interfaces, product packaging, and customer-specific requirements through compelling design.
- Investigate and define user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
- Conceptualize and execute a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
- Produce UX design solutions using wireframes, visual/graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Design functional UI elements like navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital platforms.
- Conduct UI tests for various digital projects and optimize according to user feedback.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and external design teams to ensure the delivery of tailored digital experiences.
- Advise on and implement UX research methodologies to predict and analyze user behavior.
- Adhere to established style standards on typography and graphic design.
- Translate project requirements into engaging design concepts, style guides, and user interfaces.
- Create original graphic designs and identify UX bottlenecks.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and management teams to refine design approaches.
- Employ basic 3D design techniques in project implementations when required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Design, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, including some experience in UX and app development.
- Proficient with graphic, layout, and typography fundamentals.
- Experience with print and web production.
- Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Experience with WordPress and mobile design.
- Basic knowledge of website development and coding is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate creative ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
