Retail Sales Merchandiser - Certified B Corp

They are currently seeking an energetic and self motivated candidate to join their team in BC as a Sales & Merchandising Representative. Key responsibilities include making deliveries within the Lower Mainland (2x week) and furthering the development of sales & merchandising activities within a group of accounts (3x week).
This role offers a base salary (50k target), bonus, car allowance, benefits, pension plan & stock options after 2 years of service, along with the opportunity for career progression within a B Corp and one of Canada's best places to work!
Key Responsibilities:
- Further the development, sales, and promotion of the portfolio and build brand loyalty with customers (3 days/week)
- Deliver products in a timely & organized manner (2 days/week)
- Merchandise accounts (performing stockouts, organizing the shelf, setting up displays, and setting up price and promotional signs) ensuring best-in-class execution when it comes to product supply and appearance on shelf & display
- Develop relationships with customers, monitor their needs and make sales recommendations
Key Qualifications:
- High energy and strong desire to succeed
- Passion for food as well as flawless execution
- Experience driving a 3 ton truck (or large truck) is an asset, or at minimum the confidence to learn
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and highly developed communication skills
- Capability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Ability to lift loads up to 30lbs and capable of loading and unloading consistently throughout the day (twice a week)
