Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician at Canadian Doormaster Electric Ltd. in Burnaby, BC. The Technician will be responsible for installing and servicing residential and commercial garage doors, overhead doors, security parking gates, dock loading equipment, and other related products. Day-to-day tasks include installation, maintenance, repairs, and custom design work as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in installing and servicing residential and commercial garage doors, overhead doors, and related equipment
- Knowledge of dock loading equipment, security parking gates, and barrier arm gates
- Ability to perform tune-ups, spring installations, and custom design work on doors and operators
- Technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing various types of doors and door systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
