We are currently seeking a reliable, full-time Customer Service Representative for our Transport division at our Canadian head offices in Richmond, BC.
The role of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a cross functional role managing multiple accounts. The CSR will perform a variety of tasks, all while ensuring the customer’s requirements have been met to execute their shipments and provide all necessary information regarding their orders. The CSR is the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries via phone and email regarding their services, schedules, and pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurate and timely management to the order entry of shipments and reviewing incoming orders via EDI - with strong attention-to-detail.
· Issue Resolution, proactively addressing customer’s concerns, providing timely and effective solutions while ensuring a positive customer experience.
· Processing orders accurately, maintaining visibility of shipments and following up on delivery completion using the company’s TMS (TruckMate) and ensuring all information is up to date.
· Develop a comprehensive understanding of Stryder’s transportation services, routes, and policies to provide accurate information and support to customers.
· Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Logistics and Billing, to facilitate prompt service, updates and resolve any service-related or invoice-related issues.
· Review lanes and volumes to assist with transportation services and contribute to overall company sales goals.
· Report on customer feedback to help improve service offerings and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of Customer Service or Logistics experience in the Transportation industry.
· Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and familiarity with TMS’s, experience with TruckMate is an asset.
· Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
· Able to handle large volumes of data entry and incoming inquiries in a time-sensitive environment with high levels of accuracy
· Able to excel in a fast-paced, team-focused workplace
