About This Position
We are seeking a highly motivated, schedule driven and self-motivated real estate diligence professional who will directly support the Real Estate Legal and other project teams on multiple utility scale renewable energy and/or data center projects in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. This position will directly report to the Senior Manager Paralegal - Real Estate and work closely with the entire Real Estate Legal, Land Acquisition, Permitting and broader Project Development Teams, together with other real estate diligence professionals and Land Acquisition Specialists. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to both collaborate and work autonomously, and commitment to team goals are must have qualities to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities and DutiesProvide direct support to the Real Estate Legal, Development, and other teams, as requested Order, track and coordinate title products, surveys and curative deliverables with title insurance companies, surveying firms, land services companies and local counselEvaluate and provide real estate diligence information to other project teams Coordinate and maintain tracking tools and internal databases Coordinate with external vendors and law firms to support transactionsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Real Estate, related field, or equivalent on the job related experience. 2+ years of experience in the real estate industry (title insurance / real estate legal background a plus) Renewable energy and/or data center experience preferred Knowledge of commercial surveys and title reports, proformas and policies, as well as standard and energy specific policy endorsements Familiarity with landowner agreements including, but not limited to: letters of intent, lease, purchase, and easement option agreements, and amendments thereto; and other real estate related agreements Familiarity with oil and gas curative preferred Grasp existing digital technologies ethically and systematically to complete tasks, solve problems and meet or exceed goals; Demonstrate practical adaptability to new technologies Expert level excel and google sheets skills Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to collaborate with team members and across teams Schedule driven and budget conscious Attention to detail while working under pressure Strong interpersonal skills
