Job Title: Credit Analyst
Location: Downtown Toronto

Key Responsibilities
- Credit Applications & Reviews: Prepare timely and accurate credit applications for annual reviews, renewals, and ad-hoc monitoring. This includes creating financial models, stress testing, and analyzing customer financial information and industry conditions.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and economic conditions to assess risk and compile high-quality credit applications.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough investigations and exercise sound judgment in assessing risks associated with the bank’s investments, ensuring adherence to credit policies, banking regulations, and best practices.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on borrower facilities and exposures for circulation to Department Heads, Account Officers, and Management.
- Monitoring & Control: Monitor and inform Account Officers of credit-related trigger events and financial releases of customers in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Investigate and discuss borrower requirements and transactions with deal administrators and account managers. Coordinate with account managers or customers on financial reports and other specific requirements.
- Special Projects: Assist the Department Head with special projects as requested.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all bank policies and procedures, including Anti-Money Laundering policies and regulatory requirements.

- Top Skills: Credit risk, Credit analysis
- Experience Level: Intermediate
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities. Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, Excel and Power Bi.
