Product Development Coordinator, you'll support the product development process by managing the material library, organizing prototypes, coordinating meetings, documenting feedback, communicating with regional partners, and contributing to process improvements and construction standards.
This position will require you to be in our HQ office 5 days a week.

As our Product Development Coordinator, your role is pivotal in bringing our design visions to life by ensuring seamless coordination, organization, and communication throughout the product development process. Your ability to manage our local material library and prototypes while liaising with our global teams will create a foundation for innovation and efficiency.
We need your exceptional organizational skills to keep our materials and prototypes meticulously cataloged and accessible. Your attention to detail ensures that our material selections and construction standards are accurate and aligned with our design goals. Your ability to document feedback and decisions during prototype reviews helps us maintain clarity and momentum in the development cycle.
Your skills in time management and problem-solving are crucial to juggling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and optimizing processes for future improvements. Your understanding of design principles, paired with your familiarity with tools like G-Suite, PLM software, and construction standards, makes you the bridge between creativity and technical execution.

What You’ll Do
Raw Materials
- Build and maintain Article's physical material library in the YVR HQ office including both soft and hard finishes.
- Regularly organize, and archive materials as we receive updated hangers or materials become obsolete.
- Preparing for, and scheduling the raw material selection meetings for the Category Management and Product Design Functions.
- Develop an understanding of the approved raw materials in Article's library to prepare material selection proposals for the material selection meeting according to the product concept needs.
Prototypes & Reviews
- Schedule and organize initial and final prototype review meetings with Category Management and Product Design Functions.
- Arrange and review samples prior to the final prototype review meetings.
- Document decisions and discussions or prototype feedback.
- Communicate the review outcome with our development teams in region (Mexico and Vietnam)
- Regular organization and archiving of prototypes in the HQ office.
Partnership
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Technical Product Development processes.
- Work with the Technical product development team to review, edit, and contribute to Article's construction standards.
Who You Are:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a relentless attitude
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with G-suite / Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience with PLM (or similar) software is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Completion of criminal background check
