Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Sr. Customer Business Development Manager, this position will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of paperwork due to customer account teams. This position will handle administrative functions for the team as they relate to the sharing of information and communication externally, as well as across internal stakeholders including Customer Service, and Marketing.
The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills, ideally with direct experience working within Customer Portals (e.g., Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, etc.), exceptional organizational and communication skills, and high attention to detail combined with a positive growth mindset to support our Prestige Business as we continue to evolve.
Major Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with retailers and prepare documentation for vendor worksites for new products, promotional items, price changes and special buys.
- Maintain promotional update information by customer & assist in the preparation of allocation files for promotional activity.
- Responsible for maintaining accuracy of customer vendor portals, paperwork issues, pricing, order flow, return/discontinuation details, etc.
- Involvement and understanding of marketing initiatives & program timelines to ensure seamless execution in the customer environment.
- Responsible for assisting with New Store Opening paperwork and support items, as well as tracking testers and follow up on fixture issues.
- Working closely with the Senior Manager, Prestige to ensure that all planogram paperwork is submitted to the customer and stores according to deadlines.
- Assist in completing advertising requests in partnership with Marketing: this could include securing samples, sending product information or images for promotional or flyer activity.
Assist with the monitoring of key business drivers and in tracking and sending reports on the following: Retail sales plans, events, flyer and promotional results, retail sales, and ad hoc reports.
Experience
- Two (2) to three (3) years administrative support experience in sales, marketing or similar field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet multiple, frequent and at times aggressive timelines.
- Proven ability to plan and execute while managing multiple priorities with an ability to set goals and prioritize amount many important projects.
- Strong drive for accuracy and flawless execution; very high level of attention to detail and process orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with multifunctional stakeholders
- Must be a self-starter, high energy, multi-task oriented, and team player. Demonstrated ability to be proactive and anticipate job requirements; takes ownership to resolve issues and be able to respond and accept change.
- English/French bilingual would be considered a strong asset but not required
