The Position
We are looking for a detail oriented Junior Accountant who will report to the VP Finance & Operations. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining and executing day-to-day Finance activities to ensure records are accurate and complete. This role provides the an opportunity to work closely with the Finance, Buying, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Logistics to ensure finance support is provided throughout the organization.

The Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable including vendor bills, expense reports and credit cards in NetSuite ERP
- Maintain payroll records within Ceridian DayForce and employee onboarding
- Assist in the processing of bi-weekly payroll
- Assist in the weekly preparation of Sales and Inventory reporting
- Maintain inventory accuracy across the company including assistance in administering cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Assist in the preparation of retail staff 'Scoop Bucks' incentives
- Assist in the preparation of GST, PST, WCB, WSIB and EHT filing
- Perform ad hoc reconciliations
- Provide backup support for the Buying department as required
- Support Retail team inquiries regarding the ERP and other systems
