Job Description
The
Trade Planner Analyst role will lead our sourcing projects geared towards helping our teams make smarter buying decisions. This role will work alongside the Brand Activation, Channels and Procurement team to ensure all marketing materials are purchased for the best price and quality, optimizing spend and reducing waste. This role will be tasked with identifying new opportunities & gaps as well as new technologies to find proper solutions to the existing challenges.
Job Responsibilities
Ideation
- Work with vendors on ideation for new items & programs and present findings to Brand Activation, Channels, Regional leads on a bi-weekly basis
- Build and manage catalogue for internal and external use
- Work with stakeholders to understand plans and demands for inventory
Inventory Replenishment & Management
- Provide recommendations and insights on spend, ensuring max depletion and optimal ROI , for both Onpoint and SBG items
- Manage safety stock, replenish OOS on SBG & Onpoint, and clean up obsolete SKUs
- Identify opportunities for slow moving inventory (newsletters, moving SKUs between SBG/Onpoint)
- Lead POCP process (work with stakeholders, manage inventory quantities and pricing, create and adjust POs)
- Perform daily tasks, such as creating POs, tracking orders, setting up vendors on our systems, GRing invoices on Coupa, updating prices and margins
KPIs & Projects
- Research and present new opportunities and build plans for technological solutions (Bees, Salesforce enhancements)
- Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting of KPIs and performance metrics, with the ability to analyze and present findings
Job Qualifications
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of PowerBI recommended
- Strong analytical capability is an asset
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proactive – able to identify opportunities & challenges
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, and able to work cross-functionally with others
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once re-prioritizing as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain or or Applied Math and Science
