Role Description
We are looking to add wealth management & financial planning advisor to the team (with an existing book of clients and business). The Financial Planning Associate advisor role is a full-time hybrid role located in Vancouver, BC with flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios and wealth plans, conducting financial planning, analyzing financial data, and communicating strategies with clients along with marketing and prospecting for new clientele. This role requires very good communication & sales ability along with having a high work-ethic as an intrapreneur.
Your ability to attract and attain high-net worth clientele is critical for this role.
You will also work with the team to develop and implement investment and financial planning strategies and provide an excellent customer service and experience for clients for the long-term.
What we need from you:
Education
· High School Graduate + University or College degree
· It would be preferred to have your mutual funds and LLQP Insurance certification completed already
· It would be beneficial to have your QAFP or CFP designation (Not required)
Qualifications
- An Existing book of Clientele or significant warm circle of prospective clients
- Financial Planning and Analytical Skills (preferred)
- Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Experience in Finance, Investments, and Wealth Management (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred)
- QFA, CFP or other relevant certifications are preferred
- Experience in managing client relationships and portfolios (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
