We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Assistant / Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support sales growth through exceptional customer service, efficient coordination, and lead management.
The position offers a starting salary of $60,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support and Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Provide detailed product and service information to prospective and existing clients.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through outstanding customer service.
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team with the preparation of quotes, proposals, and contracts.
- Process sales orders with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery and fulfillment of orders.
- Maintain customer and sales records in the CRM system, tracking all interactions and activities.
Lead Generation and Follow-Up:
- Research and identify potential sales opportunities to support the sales team.
- Qualify leads through communication and discovery questions to understand client needs.
- Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for outside sales representatives.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze sales reports, tracking KPIs such as lead conversion rates and sales performance.
- Provide regular feedback to the sales manager regarding sales trends and areas for improvement.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage the sales calendar, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and sales events.
- Support marketing initiatives by assisting in the creation of sales materials and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and productive sales process.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
