Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Associate at Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP. The Associate will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to mainly class action and mass tort litigation in the areas of aviation, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and First Nations. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation. The successful candidate will be expected to legal research, drafting legal documents, client communication, case preparation as well as assist in all aspects of class certification motions and trial work. While the role is primarily based in Toronto, ON, there is flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Legal Research, Document Drafting, and Case Preparation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in personal injury law is a plus
- Law degree from an accredited institution
