What is the opportunity?
As Marketing Coordinator with the RBC Wealth Management Canada marketing team, you’ll play an integral role in helping manage the output of our in-house creative studio.
What will you do?
As the first point of contact for our investment advisors and partners in the field, you’ll work closely with our in-house creative team to manage incoming creative requests. In this role, you will:
- Manage requests: Coordinate and review incoming requests for creative work, ensuring they align with project priorities and team capacity.
- Assign and brief: Distribute projects to designers, copy editors, and videographers, providing clear and thorough briefs to guide their work.
- Oversee timelines and expectations: Maintain project timelines, communicate with clients on progress, and set clear expectations to ensure all deliverables are met on time.
- Ensure brand consistency: Act as an RBC brand steward by reviewing marketing materials to confirm compliance with our brand guidelines, balancing consistency with fresh, creative ideas.
- Consult and advise: Serve as a resource to our field and partners, advising on best practices and proposing innovative marketing ideas.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in bridging client needs with creative execution, ensuring that each project meets our standards of quality and originality. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, client-centric and looking to join an enthusiastic and dedicated marketing team at RBC.
What will you do?
- Traffic creative requests to necessary team members based on skill and capacity, ensuring each team member has the necessary information to complete the request
- Manage approvals through our workflow management platform
- Liaise and build relationships with clients of the creative studio (advisors, internal partners, executives) including managing expectations and feedback
- Liaise with external vendors for production purposes
- Generate studio analytics reports
- Identify opportunity for improvements in workflow, processes and efficiencies
- Stay up to date with WM Canada’s brand standards and seek ways to be creative and innovative while maintaining adherence to guidelines
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing/Business or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and prior experience working in a customer service role
- Skilled in project management; exemplary organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Business-minded with a passion for digital marketing and make a concerted effort to stay abreast of developments in our industry
- Natural problem solver and can think on your feet
Nice to have
- Experience with design programs (Adobe, Figma, ect.)
- Experience in wealth management or serving clients in wealth management
- Fluent in French (reading, writing, conversation)
