as a MAC, you will develop and implement strategies that;
- provide thought leader/academic institutions and other key health care provider/organizations timely and up to date clinical training on Merz Aesthetics products;
- increase health care providers knowledge, competence and confidence as it relates to the management of aesthetic product-related treatments and uses.
- work collaboratively with Medical Affairs colleagues to provide support with congress management and coverage, competitive intelligence, and portfolio scientific education.
You will also provide;
Advanced hands-on training of Merz injectable and device aesthetic portfolio;
- provide hands on advanced clinical instruction upon request from HCPs and internal stakeholders
- manage calendar of trainings in own region. Responsible for maintaining a schedule and working autonomously
- provide internal training per request to educate sales on on-label training techniques and portfolio education
- work with aesthetic HCPs and residency programs to build and maintain long-term relationship
Execute Medical Affairs initiatives and programs;
- collaborate with MSLs and/or Medical Affairs colleagues to provide scientific and clinical education through presentations and/or trainings including via lunches or dinners
- assist with projects and developing tools/projects for field use
- work collaboratively with Medical Affairs MSLs on profiling/planning for assigned medical meetings
- responsible for attending scientific congresses as assigned, summarizing sessions and relaying session notes to conference point within requested timeframe
- observe and audit relevant sessions at medical meetings, follow up on educational opportunities (i.e. misinformation), and provide post-meeting reports on educational value and competitive intelligence.
Experience
- Nursing Degree or higher is required
- Min. 3 years of aesthetics experience, including injectables
- Active license, in good standing, in the province where they currently live
- Strong procedural, technical, and anatomical competency of injection technique for facial aesthetic injectable procedures
- Ability to establish clinical credibility, overcome clinical objections with professional audiences, and articulate clinical information on Merz Aesthetic product
- Strong clinical knowledge in relevant aesthetic areas
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills
- High level of competency with use of computer, mobile electronic devices, and salesforce systems
- Experience in Healthcare
- Highly proficient in MS office suite of applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex scientific concepts in 1:1 and group settings
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Aesthetic background, plastic surgery or dermatology experience
